Background
Sofie has an MSc in Software Engineering from Uppsala University. She majored in Human-Computer Interaction and also studied related courses in the area of user-centred software development. She has complemented her studies with additional courses in Psychology (amongst others) during one year at the University of Maryland, USA. Sofie started working at Usability Partners in 2005, where she earlier completed her MSc project. The project involved an evaluation of the usability of a national support system used by nurses for telephone-based healthcare advice.
Skills and experience
Sofie has primarily worked with usability evaluations of products such as web sites, intranets and software. She has also worked with expert evaluations and information structuring, both for web sites and intranets. Sofie has worked with both national and global companies in a variety of sectors, such as energy, healthcare, telecom, bank and IT.
