Background

Kaisa completed her MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management at Linköping University, and her MSc in Human Factors in Manufacturing Systems at Nottingham University (UK). Between 1998 and 2001 she worked as a consultant and usability specialist at Nomos. Before that she worked as usability consultant at a large scandinavian IT company. Kaisa has many years' experience of usability work and has worked part time on her PhD at HMI (human machine interaction) graduate school.

Kaisa co-founded Usability Partners in 2001 together with Richard Whitehand.

Skills and Experience

Kaisa has experience in usability testing of a variety of different types of user interface - web sites, medical products, telecom products, and software. She has also worked within development projects giving support with regard to both ergonomic and usability aspects. In her research she has been working with human-machine interfaces in a broader perspective. Kaisa has written several articles in the usability area and has presented papers at international conferences.
